These Copperplate place cards are handmade from start to finish at 'The Flourishing Nib', reflecting the elegance of an 18th-century Copperplate or English Roundhand style. Each card is meticulously hand cut from 300gsm textured watercolour paper and inscribed in black or walnut ink, ensuring a timeless, tactile quality. Designed to be bespoke for you, every name is thoughtfully composed to sit beautifully within the space, enhancing your event’s refined atmosphere. For a personalised touch, contact us to explore additional colour options beyond the classic black ink.
 
Available to purchase in sets of 10, you can choose to have a first name, full name or titled name on the cards, please see examples in the photographs. The cards are cut an folded specifically for you, therefore no two cards will be the same. You will receive a photograph of the cards before they are sent out to double check they are correct. You will need to supply the names exactly as they are to be written. Please allow a week for this product to be made. Contact me for orders needed sooner.

    Every piece created at The Flourishing Nib begins the moment your order is placed. Calligraphy isn’t mass‑produced — it’s slow, deliberate work, shaped by careful strokes, chosen inks, and materials prepared specifically for your commission.

    Because each item is made to order and tailored uniquely to you, it cannot be resold or repurposed once the process has begun. For this reason, refunds and cancellations aren’t available for handmade or personalised calligraphy pieces.

    Images are original and created in house, therefore are clearance free, on a global basis,  for non-exclusive use in film, TV, theatre, photography, interiors and any other visual productions. Copyright of all images is owned by Lensograph.​ Image files are licenced for single use only as per the set reference listed on the contract.
