Gothic writing

Gothic script, also known as Blackletter. Including Gothic Textualis where ‘Textualis’ means ‘bookish’, a nod to the reason for it's creation to fit more text onto Bible pages.  It is a dense, angular, decorative calligraphic style of writing that was used in Western Europe from around 1150 to the 17th century.
